officially my favourite of the bunch, tiny toad time western leopard toads are going to be the last color variant i offer of That One Miniature Toad i sculpted a while back. im surprised at how much mileage i got out of the sculpt, but i think im well overdue to make some new toadly goodness. i also love the fact that these seemed to have helped encourage growth in toad collectables that actually look like toads on etsy! best timeline tbh, thank you all so much for supporting these chunky frens these little rorschach tests are available in my shop in limited quantities, but will be restocked after the holidays. you can adopt ur own tiny leopard toad here: [x]

A western leopard toad [Sclerophrys pantherina] soaks its rump in a water dish meant for pets. This species is endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa. This specimen was found in Cape Town, South Africa, by photographer Jeltje van den Bosch.

An introspective male western leopard toad [Amietophrynus pantherinus] photographed by Jeremy Dickens. The western leopard toad is endemic to the Cape Peninsula, Cape Flats and Agulhas flats of South Africa. They’re often found in in gardens and suburbs as well as other urban areas. They’re currently listed as Endangered by the IUCN Red List, but conservation efforts are underway, with volunteers working to relocate toads from their breeding grounds and across busy roads.
