Hey all!
I am excited to share my latest conceptual portrait series called, "West". This shoot is featuring my good buddy and fellow image creator, Maxwell Frank. I spent a few days during the previous week scouting locations way out in the back country of Santa Barbara and definitely found "the one" that I wanted to shoot at. Unfortunately, on the day we decided to haul all of our equipment out there (about a 2 hr drive) the gate we needed to get through was closed due to weather. I'm sure you can just imagine how frustrated I was, but I had to rid of that sour attitude and focus in order to make the best of the situation at hand. With that being said, we turned around and visited a different spot that I have also scouted in the past. This location was probably just as good, but deep down I can't wait to return to my back country spots. I guess I will have to create another character to tell a story about so I can use them.
