There's always one in every batch... that special stone that I really enjoy. This is a picture jasper, often compared to western scenery, from the hope slide. Typically closed to collecting, this gemstone was open to collectors with special permission! The hope slide was the largest landslide ever recorded in Canadian history! 47 million cubic meters of rock suddenly gave way in 1965.
