He has been in Westmont all his life; he had a loving father and a loving mother, but after the constant aggressive behavior of his dad, his mom ran away, leaving both of them.

His dad was severely damaged by this, because he had always been looking for the perfect family and the perfect life and so, he decided to find a substitute.

Eli’s dad started kidnapping women and keeping them in the house so they became the perfect wife for him and the perfect mother for his son and if they failed to fulfill the part or tried to escape, he would kill them.

So yes, the boy grew up in a horrible environment he considered normal (p much like Zach) and so, is used to have a “different” mom every month or so, which has made him very insensitive to someone else’s pain.

At this point, Eli even helps his dad either luring the women or driving the van they have.

At school, he hangs out with the pranksters or the popular bunch! He has the reputation of a bit of a fuckboy, never really settling with anyone, but sleeping with everyone. Rumors say he even slept with one of his teachers.

He is very VERY DELUSIONAL, lives in his own little world where nothing is wrong and everyone’s happy. He is not used to deal with negative emotions, so he doesn’t know how to cope with them at all.

Truth is, his father pushes him to EXCEL at everything and to always have a smile on his face; if faced with anger, sadness or remorse, Eli basically breaks because he has never learned to cope with those emotions.

A sad clown. He is forced to be happy even though the pressure of everything is bottling up inside and killing him slowly.   And there is just so much someone can take before they break.

The question is... WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN ELI REACHES HIS BREAKING POINT?

Ivan didn’t see him, but as soon as Elijah got home he googled him and managed to track him down on social media. He hasn’t told anyone that he knows the whereabouts of his father, and hasn’t contacted him yet.

He’s the literal definition of soft

He doesn’t really believe that he deserves to be happy, but also wants everyone else to be happy, so he would never ever do anything that he thinks would hurt someone. Including standing up for himself

Okay so a few connection ideas:

Childhood friends: The name says it all. I don’t imagine Eli has a ton of friends because he’s so quiet, but he’s a great friend and would do literally anything for the people he cares about

Bully: Someone that Eli just can’t seem to get off his back. It can be someone from when they were kids, or someone that bothers him now - doesn’t really matter. He’s pretty easy to pick on

Artsy fartsy: Anyone that also does art, whether it’s photography or painting, or even something that’s not visual art tbh. They probs nerd out together and do that kind of thing while they’re hanging out, idk.

An ex? I really don’t have any specific ideas for this one, mostly because it really depends on the other character. It could have been a great relationship or a terrible one, or even just a fling. 

Edit: I think I would actually love to have a fling/hookup type thing for him, especially if it was either really recent or maybe hasn’t happened yet.

her family is fairly normal, she is the oldest of two kids; she has a brother named carter who is ten years old and she loves him a lot even though she wants to punch him sometimes.

-basically, kennedy “kj” dimarco is a seventeen year old and a junior at westmont. she was born and raised here, and has an older brother, and two younger half siblings, a brother and sister. 

-by the time kj was going into middle school, her mom confessed to cheating on her dad, and ended up leaving the family. she doesn’t hear much from her mom whatsoever, and her dad ended up remarrying very quickly. (almost suspiciously quickly)

-she has a great relationship with her dad and older brother, and vividly remembers helping them fix up cars in their freetime throughout her childhood. her father is a mechanic, and it was something his family had done for generations. so yes, her older brother is actually a mechanic apprentice.

-fast forward to a year ago. kj received her drivers license with a perfect score, mostly because she had began learning to drive from her older brother and dad from early on in high school. 

-on a weekend trip out with her friends, she was driving in los angeles, driving rather recklessly, and ended up knocking a mirror off of another car. she was devastated, and thought she would lose her license, but it turned out a criminal named matthew pesci. he was so floored by her driving skills, despite hitting his mirror, that he let her go without calling the police. he offered her a job, and gave her his contact information.

-originally, she didn’t think very much of this, and was just very grateful that the man didn’t decide to rat her out. 

- recently, within the last nine months or so, her dad’s health began to deteriorate very quickly. he’s been in and out of the hospital, which means he can’t support his family. as a result, kj’s stepmom has dipped into a crazy, alcoholic depression, and can’t seem to take care of the younger kids or step up and get a job to help the family.

-this meant that kennedy had to accept the job offer from matthew. little did she know, this would be one of the most insane jobs ever. so far, kj had only done two or three jobs, all in los angeles, san francisco, and other bigger cities. she’s made pretty decent scores, and is using the money to help support her family.
