Located in the heart of Waianae at Kea'au Beach Park is a tidepool big enough to fit up to four people. Also known as the “infinity pool”, this natural made pool is home for an abundance of sea life that dwells in a dynamic underwater atmosphere surrounded by soft carpet-like algae. Aside from admiring the exotic fish, visitors are able to spend time playing in the waves that flow over the wall of the pool. By playing I mean fighting against the current to keep from being pushed into the coral walls. To top it off, this pool is just deep enough to jump into, approximately 7 feet in depth. 

When pulling into this beach park, turn left and drive all the way to the left end of the parking lot closest to the ocean. Then to find the pool itself you have to walk straight towards the ocean across sharp, jagged rocks until you come across a drop-off overlooking the “infinity pool”. Take caution when climbing down the small drop and make sure to place your slippers when waves won't wash them away! 

It takes time locating this particular tidepool at Kea'au Beach Park but rest assured it is well worth your time visiting. Open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. at
