When you think you coming up with an original fic idea but...

It's just a westside story au for good omens....

I’ve been playing an idea in my head for a miraculous ladybug west side story AU its gonna be Lukanette because my brain has been scratching for that ship however with past adrinette and they stay besties throughout. If you’re familiar with the movie or the stage play it’s going to be more toward the 2021 movie since I can’t ever bring myself to watch the 1961 because of the controversy of it. I’ve written some stuff already, mostly the dramatic parts however I wrote a short snippet that doesn’t really reveal much and it’s kinda just an experiment. I’ll post it down below if anyone is curious. I’m still working out some concepts but definitely want to take this out of the idea stage!

First Look:

Luka hadn’t heard a melody from another person in such a long time. The last song that played in his head died in a sad state that had a forte falling into a cacophony of a billion instruments breaking at the same time. And yet when he looked at this girl next to his sworn enemies he heard the sweetest sound he’d ever heard. She was radiant. Her blue eyes looked toward the side to the boy beside her and her hair bounced as she laughed at something he whispered in her ear. Immediately he felt discouraged as he watched them talk however he couldn’t keep his mind from listening to song playing in his head. The boy spoke once more before placing his hand on her shoulder then disappeared into the crowd. She watched him go before looking ahead. Luka’s heart stopped as she stared right at him and he suddenly heard the music around him meet the song inside his head. Oh no. He thought.
