I decided to open my hood for the heck of it.... and it works smoothly! Now to open Opal’s lot *fingers crossed*

Progress! As you may know, I plan to release a version of my downtown subhood, Westwend. I have finished (re)building the industrial side of the neighborhood. Also, I plan to release some cc-free lots! Here’s the diner, one of my favorite lots. The cc-free version looks pretty good and works like a charm!

I finally finished my version of central park in Westwend, and I love it! I used a bunch of hood deco (trees, walkways, roads) to construct the area and used Mootilda’s lot adjuster to place some lots.

The park features a lake, a hiking trail, a playground, a community garden, an ice-skating rink, and a restaurant.

When my laptop broke in February, I got a new one and downloaded a bootleg version of the game. I was able to fix some of the usual problems when installing TS2 onto a newer laptop, but I couldn’t figure out how to fix my resolution problem.

So, from February to November, I have been playing on a tiny window (800x600). Thanks to @redandvidya, I was able to fix my issues! Now, I can play on full-screen 😍

Opal rolled the want to go skating (and it was the only easily attainable want she had). So, the girls spent all day here! By nightfall, Opal was in much better spirits!

Gallagher just graduated from university and is ready to take on the world! Unfortunately, he is too broke to buy a house. So, he has to either return to Cardend and live with his estranged parents, or move to the big city and find himself an apartment/roommates.

I rolled a die, and big city livin’ it is!

Here’s a look at Westwend, the downtown subhood I’ve been working on. It’s not done yet, but most of the industrial area is and that’s the district where Gallagher will live for now.
