Omg i hope youre okay babe!!!!! Do something nice for yourself hdjdks

I’m totally fine thanks to my seatbelt and the airbags. The only injuries I sustained (and I used the word very lightly) were from my seatbelt keeping me safe. My right shoulder and my left hip are gonna be sore for a while, but it’s ok C: I’m just super glad that nobody involved was hurt.

It’s times like today that I remember all the fights I got into with my friends about me refusing to drive/be in a car with them if they didn’t wear their seatbelt. Like, if I hadn’t had mine on, I could have been actually hurt instead of just sore. 

I have a friend who wasn’t even driving on the freeway and she got into an accident. She wasn’t wearing her seatbelt and if it hadn’t been for her airbag, she would’ve gone through the windshield. The accident was so bad, she was SO CLOSE to having been paralyzed BECAUSE SHE WASN’T WEARING HER SEATBELT.

so this is just a psa from me to everyone:

WEAR YOUR FUCKING SEATBELTS.

I don’t give a damn if they’re uncomfortable/uncool, WEAR. IT. 

Even when you’re not driving, because if the driver gets pulled over and you as a passenger aren’t wearing one, the driver will get a ticket. Don’t be that asshole that get’s their friend a ticket yo. Nobody likes that guy.

Through this whole thing (after I found out everyone involved was alright) the thing I was most worried about was my dad being angry and yelling at me. I did good though, I didn’t cry until my dad picked me up. Woop, go me! (and to my dad’s credit, he didn’t yell at me either)

I was thinking about responding to his privately, but I’ve gotten multiple messages asking me about it/wondering if I’m okay, so I just figured I’d do this in one fell swoop.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me well wishes! It has really made me feel a whole lot better! -kisses every single one of you-

Oh and I did C: I didn’t have enough $$ for my favorite spicy asiago ranch chicken thingy from Wendy’s, so I got myself a frosty instead. 

And I drove to my school and back in my dad’s car (I’m gonna be driving his until we get me a new one)  just to kinda give myself some confidence in driving (because my accident was on my way home from school) and I was nervous and a bit scared, but I’m not feeling scared of driving to school anymore. Which is good, because if I have any more absences I’ll be dropped from my classes orz
