Qualifying session started dry. Out lap straight up to speed but there was a shower on the back half of the circuit on my first flying lap. Backed out of it to see if it would dry up and put in another lap. Caught the guy in front but the heavens opened towards the end of the lap. Decided to finish the lap just in case it was a quicker time. Had to do a full lap in the pouring rain on dry tyres, had a bit of fun though when I saw a photographer standing out in it getting soaked. He got this.
Thanks to PKphotomedia, he came up and saw me afterwards as I was the only one out there.
