I have always been a sucker for a good concept album, and this one hits home hard for me. As a purebred suburbanite, I can feel the depression, angst, boredom, self-loathing, and pretension seeping through the music and lyrics of The Suburbs. As our society slowly becomes overrun by hipsters, yuppies, and yupsters, anyone can relate to the attention starved characters in the song Rococo:
