Left 🎥✨taken last week⠀ Right 🎥 ✨one year ago⠀ One year ago I focused on loving my body and keeping it strong for whatever would come next with my ovarian cancer diagnosis and treatment. ⠀ ⠀ Today I hang on for dear life (to my fireplace mantel) while doing simple intentional moves. ⠀ ⠀ Am I disappointed that I am not stronger than I was 1 year ago?? NO WAY. I am grateful for NEVER QUITTING and NEVER GIVING UP on my temple. ⠀ ⠀ I now have days I can barely make it up my own stairs .. but guess what?? If I would have given up on my strength, my body would have given up on me a long time ago. ⠀ ⠀ If you really want to find peace within your size, shape and strength.. you need to come at your body from a place of love and compassion. It needs you to care for it, to love it and to nurture it. ⠀ ⠀ You are worthy of loving yourself fully no matter your size or shape. ⠀ ❣️ Look at yourself in the mirror⠀ ❣️ Truly look at yourself⠀ ❣️ You are not just a body⠀ ❣️ I’m so glad I never gave up⠀ ❣️ You are beautiful from the inside out⠀ ❣️ Recognize your beauty and strength⠀ ❣️ Believe in your whole self⠀ Let it all shine through.. I promise it WILL. ⠀ #wevegotyou #strongertogether (at Edmonton, Alberta) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBJDARggP6n/?igshid=1ved1n95osrd9
