Introduce yourself, Boston! Here’s your chance to make a great first impression. 

“What’s up, everyone! My name is Boston McConnell, I’m 32 years old and I’m from Brindleton Bay, but technically speaking I’m from everywhere. Growing up, my parents were the free-spirited, adventurous types so I spent majority of my childhood in a van travelling the country with my two moms. I currently work from home as a freelance photographer with my 3 year old daughter, Aaliyah.” 

How would you describe yourself in 3 words and why?

“Hm... I’d say clumsy, a goofball, and a bro. I feel like clumsy speaks for itself. I’ve never been the most graceful person out there, and I’ll admit that majority of my dishes are plastic because of one too many accidents. My friends would describe me as a goofball and a bro because I’m always the one trying to lighten the mood and keep everybody in good spirits.” 

Why are you signing up for The Bachelorette? 

“Well, I’m gonna be honest here: I don’t really get out much onto the dating scene. After Aaliyah’s mother and I broke up 3 years ago, I just haven’t had much time to date since I got full custody over our daughter. I think that now is a good time to put myself out there now that she’s getting older and with her grandmas right now. Plus, what can I say? I feel like Brenda and I could have a good connection. Just from what I saw, she seems like a free spirit and a blast to be around. I’m really interested in what can happen between us.” 

Say Brenda was reading this right now. What would you say to her? 

“Brenda, if you’re out there reading this, I just want you to know that I feel that we can have amazing adventures together. I’ve traveled the country before as a kid, but I’d love to travel the world with a special someone, and I can only hope that you’d love to do the same. I hope you can give me a chance! I’ll definitely prove it to you!”

What do you have to say about Freya? My dnd character is named after her!

She is one of the most important gods in the norse mythology. The god of fertility. She is of a different line than the rest of the gods: called vaner, most of the other gods are aser. Freja has a feathersuit she can change into so she can fly around. Also she has two giant cats that pull her wagon. A very famous story here that shows something about her is the story of when Thor got his hammer, Mjølner stolen by a jotun and the jotun said they could make an exchange - Freja's hand in marriage for the hammer. So when they told her....She got a little tinsy bit angry and completely refused to take part in any such thing just to get a stupid hammer back. So in the end Thor had to dress up as Freja with heavy layers of veil in order to hide his beard. And I just think it's so funny. They didn't even dare try to force her, they were just like "Well, Thor, buddy. We better find a dress your size!"
