Hello! I hope you don’t mind me asking; how do you get your screenshots to look so nice? Like what reshade do you use and how do you edit?
Hi anon 👋🏼
Thank you for the ask, I really love talking about my process for screenshots and editing!
I made my own reshade preset, it does most of the heavy lifting so I generally only do a little editing in photoshop. Putting my preset up for download is on the list, hopefully I'll get that out sooner than later.
Most of the editing comes from Topaz Clean and Smart Sharpen with some Curves layers for brightening the image and adding contrast. Sometimes I'll top it off with a Photo Filter to do a little color correcting, typically Deep Blue, Warming Filter (81), or Deep Red. Let me know if you'd like me to be more specific.
I packed up some of my favorite actions I use for editing, you can download them here. You'll need Topaz Clean to get the full effect and I think they work better with a reshade preset.
(close ups under the cut)
no reshade on the left (darker), reshade on the right (brighter)
I can't believe I said I was back and then frickin disappeared again!?! But I've been working on a few things, so I'll be emerging from my turtle shell sooooooon 👀🐢💖
hi lovely! wcif the little frankenstein makeup for the bebe’s ;-;
hello hello!
so the short answer is you can't really find it cause I did a lot of converting from adult to toddler . . .
the long answer is I used . . .
pyiixdis' devil's backbone, of the earth, and demon days for the skin tones and decay details
for the stitches I used suspiciouslypinklady's noir stitches with a few personal recolors
2. do you take edit shots in cas or in live mode? or do you use blender?
Yes, most of my edits are in blender, but if they're in game I use live mode
7. pick an edit and describe how you intended the viewer to feel while looking at it
I wanna talk about this one because it's my favorite from the lookbook challenge and I'm not sure if my intentions actually came across. I was going for relatable-mundane, a kind of slice of life scene. I wanted to capture the feeling of going out after your early 20s, where when you almost fall asleep at the bar it's because you sat through three meetings that day not because you were throwing back shots.
8. show an unedited screenshot and the finished product
Could've put a lot of things here, but I just love how the colors turned out in this one
