Candy's #cutebutt photo #1
CANDY! How in the world did you convince them to pose like that for you?!
To be honest? Tina came to me about it. She said "I even have a special outfit just for your photo, sugar!" - and when she came back she was wearing that schoolgirl costume!
...really?!
Yeah, she reads the blog! According to her, a LOT of the girls here at WrestleFestival do too!
That's absolutely fantastic!
I know, right? I'm gonna get so many photos! It's gonna be a cutebuttpalooza!
Candy, do try to spend time making friends and learning while we're here. The last thing I want to find out, is that you spent all of your time taking "#cutebutt" photos instead of soaking up all there is to see, okay?
Sure thing, teach! How about a 50/50 split between pervy photos and taking part in all the cool stuff. Sound good?
That seems more than reasonable.
Sweet! Now I gotta go find Cammy...I've GOT to get her to take a photo for us!
Ask Candy #37
Thanks for all the comments about us having a great Halloween. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to celebrate it this year because...WE'RE AT WRESTLE FESTIVAL!!!!!
Seriously, it's all thanks to you guys! There's NO way the WrestleFestival people would have noticed us if you weren't interacting with our blog on a constant basis!
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude! I already got NyoTengu and Tina to take a #cutebutt photo for us!
No way!
Yeah! The fans are gonna LOSE their minds!
Where's Ms.Spencer and Becky?
Uh...Becky is eating snacks with Marie Rose and I think Ms.Spencer is checking us into our room or something. Last time I saw her she was off talking to one of the aides about necessary power output or whatever - I think she's worried about having all our stuff hooked up in the room blowing the fuses, lol!
Marie? You mean from Dead or Alive?
YEAH! I've seen Jill Valentine, Ada Wong AND Sheva Alomar from Resident Evil, Deadpool's here taking selfies with anybody he can find, Cammy's here, Aihara's here, - hell, I even ran into Red Sonja!
Wait, MAKOTO's here?!
Yeah, apparently my new nickname is "Pantsu Ginger Princess". :P
LOL! Dude I'm gonna see if I can get you a customized WF2014 "Panty Shot" Championship belt!
Normally I'd threaten to boob punch you super hard, but...now I want that belt. I shall rule my kingdom of Panty Shots as any fair Princess would...with an iron fist and a cell phone camera. :D
So, did Makoto say anything else?
Yeah, she said "Be sure to have Becca get Candy that "Panty Shot" belt because it's freakin' awesome...desu".
...after I get you that belt, I'm gonna hit you with it. >:(
Jeez, calm down "B-chan". She said something about having to find you so she could give you some chocolates or something. Not really sure what she meant.
Hmm...maybe she got her English wrong?
Five bucks says she meant to say she's gonna give you a bunch of 'sugar'.
Sugar? You mean...?
Yeah dude. This is gonna be WrestleFestival 2014: Kissathon!
Whoa...
WF2014 pre-hype!

That's right everybody, it's time once again to put your thinking hats on and go digging through all of your favorite wrestling moves, holds, throws, pins, submissions - because WRESTLEFESTIVAL 2014 is only two and a half weeks away!
We've got a ring, we've got a cage, we've got announce tables, props, a full arena, all kinds of new special effects, and SO much more.
Now I know, you've probably got some questions...and there's nothing more I'd love to do than sit here and answer them forever. BUT - I've still got a ton of work to do. So, I'm gonna leave a basic FAQ and a quick QA with the WF2014 referee to keep you guys clued in.
FAQ:
Q: How many requests can I have?
A: ONE. However, if the event slows down or requests become hard to come by, I'll personally start messaging people and offer them a second request (at random).
Q: What characters can we choose?
A: It's gonna be a case by case basis. Sometimes a model just doesn't work well with another due to size differences, aesthetic juxtaposition, or maybe it's just a poorly rigged. The final call is gonna be up to me, but it doesn't hurt to give me ideas to work with. Lemme know what characters you like, themes (schoolgirl, catgirl, anime related, etc), whatever!
Q: What models are out there?
A: Well...a buttload. There's Touhou, Dream Club, Idolmaster, Vocaloid, Senran Kagura, MLP, Anime related, Videogame ports, etc. Take a look online for MMD models, hell, do a search on DA! You never know what might be out there, and it might just be what you're lookin for!
Q: Are you going to lock moves like you did last year?
A: I freakin' have to. If I don't, then 90% of the requests will be for Muscle/Kinniku Busters, Powerbomb pins, German Suplex pins, or Boston Crabs. Can't be having that, this is a once a year thing - gotta keep it diverse.
Q: But, if the move I wanted has a variant/alternate version, can I request that?
A: Oh, you're sneaky! But yes, if the move you want has been locked, then find a variant of it (hint: Youtube has a metric ton of wrestling move footage). For every German Suplex there's a Dragon/Tiger/Capture/Sunrise variant.
Q: Anything else I should know?
A: Think about the move you're gonna request and then ask yourself this: What's the setup? Is it "in motion", during the "impact" of the move, or the "aftermath"? Each of those variables can help to set the scene or tell a story within a single image. You can always leave it up to me though, if you want. :D
From Raw and Smackdown, to Puroresu and Joshi leages. Indie feds to your favorite manga or anime. It's all fair game as long as it's actually used in pro-wrestling matches.
The more references you send, the easier it's gonna be to pose and stage the shot. The easier it is to do that, the faster the image gets done. The faster that image gets done, the sooner I can work on the next one in my to-do list....and THAT means more images for everyone. So please, don't send me some vague request coupled with little to no information. Google it, youtube it, whatever!
Want one character overcoming the odds to pin two people? How about a TagTeam submission? 2 v 1 top rope acrobatics? I know, it's a tough decision - but that's why this FAQ thing exists a few weeks early, so you can plan your request and put some legit thought into it.
Same goes for the props. There are a ton of options now, so think about it. Tables, ladders, chairs, baseball bats, and a hand...on a stick? Wait, what the hell?
These raucous little devils are courtesy of one of my friends (and MMD colleague) -- JunkoJunkoDance.
Note: Keep in mind that there are a LOT more "guest characters" coming, and they will be announced as soon as I can whip up promo images for them. It's gonna be a wild WF2014 event, that's for sure.
Basically, in motion is for mid move stuff, like "as" it's happening. Impact is for the moment of contact (punches/slams/chairshots/etc). Aftermath is for a pinning hold, when someone either taps out - or is struggling in a submission, or when someone is looking over a downed opponent (or celebrating their victory).
