I don't know if this is odd or not, but I really don't do much work for my community. I mean I'd love to, it's just that most of my commissions come from other areas. I suppose it's partially this reason that I super enjoyed collaborating with the Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema! Between getting to work within my region AND the fact that it's a festival dedicated solely to the moving picture, it was a pretty great experience.

I was tasked with creating an image to be used on the event's shirts, banners, cards, basically everything (pictures of that stuff to come soonish) and this is the basis for all that. As much as an animation plays off of many senses, it's still about the visual for me. Thus the merging of audience and projector to create the all-encompassing face.
