the funny thing about returning to characters ~two years later~ is i'm like "yea i know i named this character myself. have no idea what the fuck the name means tho."
and then having to look it up the same way one might look it up on a baby name website except in this case, i have to do a whole dictionary search because there sure isn't some orc name resource around. what the fuck does gundûrz's name mean? no clue. kraghya? no clue. maûzhâk turned out to be ~warrior squad, and that reminded me that i must have picked a germanic name which i then translated, because that seems like a somewhat random combination of terms that i wouldn't otherwise pick... but i can't figure out what name it could have been? (i might have it saved on the nokia but i'm only booting it under dire circumstances)
ah, turns out gundûrz is just "steady".
i still can't really figure out what kraghya is, maybe kragh+ya but kragh means armful/fathom and -ya in this context might have been intended to be something like "one" but "armful one" sounds weird...
