Thanks a bunch! I’m excited to get this blog going :)
women have endured so much. have been so many things. have created and sustained innumerable and infinite cultures and traditions.
what have men done?
hi folks i finished my undergraduate capstone for my major last week (5.5.20)
i was focusing on creating a transnational analysis of how children are socialized to this idea of citizenship and national identity in schools
schools are vehicles of socialization, education is a *mostly* a fraud
i learned a lot through this experience: about my writing, about education systems all over the world, about what i can emphasize when i try to change this
i’m very proud of my writing (these 25 pages weren’t easy) and i am thrilled to think about how passionate and excited i was while doing it ;)
take humanities classes folks, that’s where the real learning is
final edits on an essay due tonight! it’s all coming together! 🥰 also i’m trying to post more consistently on this account, so hopefully expect some fresh content very soon.
Taking notes on my professor’s online powerpoint and lecture
I finally am home from the WGSS conference and wow it was such a cool experiance!
I got to meet so many amazing scholars of so many walks of life. It has made me excited to keep working on my papers
dyke deed of the day 2: getting my master’s in women’s, gender, and sexuality studies
