I just had a thought about Will at the end of Sorbet.

Who brings a bottle of wine to a dinner party only to leave?

Did he go out of his way to pick out a bottle as an apology for not attending and then drive all the way to Hannibals just to leave again?

Was he invited to dinner assuming it was going to be just the two of them?

Did he know there was a dinner party and just backed out?

Like did I just miss something ???

Yearning for a fic (season 3b) where Will returns to the BSHCI and Hannibal refuses to speak to him, even look at him.

The 3 years alone in that cell making him grow bitter.

The great red dragon is about to kill another family and Will is desperate for help. Begging and pleading, pressed against the glass screaming for Hannibal to turn around.

Will doesn’t care about the case anymore, the family can die for all his cares. He just needs to hear Hannibal’s voice.
