In regards to your tags on the vanitas post. I think the novels and the manga are secondary cannon. Meaning that so long as something in them doesn't contradict the games, you can consider that something as cannon. Don't quote me on that though

that tracks, i can get behind that. there's stuff mentioned in novels that i think lots of people consider to be pretty much canon, but im never sure myself. thank you for the answer though, i am adopting this idea ^^
