1.: One of your best cosplay memories?
Without a doubt, the Anime Boston where the ForeverCon group was formed. That weekend is not only my best con weekend ever, it’s one of the best weekends of my entire life. I feel so blessed to be friends with all these amazing people.
2.: Ever met someone involved in the creation of a series you’ve cosplayed from?
No, but if I ever met Naoko Takeuchi, I would probably die of happiness right there on the spot.
4.: Stupidest thing you’ve done for cosplay?
Uhhh...haha. So it’s not one of my costumes, but the Knights of Pluto Zidane cosplay I was making for asdfghjklbeeeees was a trainwreck from the moment I started on it. The whole thing just turned out to be a hot mess. I’ve never made armor before, and starting with a full on gorget-styled breastplate really wasn’t the smartest choice. It was an utter failure, and I finally said “Fuck it!” and placed the thing in my driveway and backed up over it with my car to help alleviate my stress XD;
7.: Who is the cosplayer who inspired you to push yourself out of your comfort zone?
I mean... nobody? There are a lot of cosplayers that I admire, and a lot of absolutely stunning costumes that I salivate over. But if I wasn’t comfortable wearing a certain type of costume, like a swimsuit, then no one could convince me to wear it. My very first costume was my dream costume, Garnet’s coronation gown, so I guess nothing has really held me back from doing any costume that I want to do.
16.: Best Photoshoot?
Honestly, any photoshoot where I can hang out with my friends is always fantastic. I’m lucky to have lot of cosplayer and photographer friends, so I’m always guaranteed a good time!
