Asterope stays in the position for a few seconds, waiting for Sun to jump out and greet him with a wide smile, or Moon to pop out of a corner to see what the racket was all about.
But neither of those things happened. Wait... Where was Sunny? He never left the daycare... Something felt off, even Asterope could tell as much.
That's when he saw the new bot. A big one, and if he had ever felt frustrated with being shorter than the other attendants, this was really taking the cake!
But they were getting ahead of themself. Looking around left and right, he confirmed that this new bot was the only one present in the daycare. If it was temporary or not... That didn't even cross his mind. He just assumed the others were out... Maybe Moon was patrolling a little early. There surely was an explanation to this.
"Friend..."
Asterope parroted the larger bot, his grin softening slightly, but remaining nonetheless. Did he... know them?
"Hmhmhm, I don't seem to recall meeting you before, alas I am not opposed to forging this friendship right here and now, no ceremony needed!"
He skipped over and landed before Eclipse with his hands on his hips, bending his disc-shaped head backwards and upward, so that he could fully look at them.
"Who might you be, a new attendant for the daycare mayhaps?"
