dumb birthday hcs for stipa and echo ironwood
stipa is a mid/late july baby. he was a fall harvest conception.
the iron circle celebrated birthdays in groups, so never really on your precise birthday. but give or take a week or three so that more than one person was honored to conserve resources.
echo is an early august baby. there’s not much to do in the dead of winter in the cold underdark but fuck.
even as he gets older, echo is p obviously excited for it, counting down the days and finding every excuse to mention it so you don’t forget.
stipa is usually a mess the night before echo’s birthday! he tries to find a one night stand to shut off his brain and then kick them out and not let them stay and gets drunk after.
stipa prays to mavis and bellas before bed, to catch them up on what their son has done during the year but refers to echo by his birth name elèndar. he pulls himself together to throw the kid a party that he planned out at least a month in advanced.
stipa doesn’t think to celebrate his own birthday. he will if a partner or friend arranges it.
