Hi yes, very important question here: Top 5/50 JT moments/lines/whatever
Ahahahaha perfect ask is perfect. Don’t hold me to this order because every single moment JT is on my screen is my favorite and I love them all equally.
1. “Why don’t y’all come back in the morning? I’ll bring the croissants” I love this because we now know that if they’d gone home and come back, he 100% would’ve been there waiting with breakfast pastries.
2. “I knew you’d be back” reader, I howled. I love that he knew exactly what was up, I love that this line did so much to fill in his character and demonstrate how smart and observant he is (one thing I think Good Girls is really, really good at is creating well-rounded characters right down to their tertiary characters, often with very little. It’s impressive)
3. “The chip is just a vehicle to get the salsa in my mouth.” JT is wide and good and right.
4. “Straight up Phill Collins” I LOVE HIM YOUR HONOR
5. “Nuh-uh” this one’s from the 307 clip (which, why???? Are they releasing clips for 2 eps from now?????? Is the marketing team high??????????) so it’s maybe cheating? But anywho, first off, I adore his delivery. Like, just, in general but also the fact that the girls are walking up and before they even say anything he’s just like HARD PASS TO WHATEVER THIS IS. Secondly, going back to number 2, this is another one of those tiny things that does a lot of heavy lifting and I love that it implies that the girls and JT have developed a close enough relationship that he can just read them (not that they’re like, subtle, but still)
6. Honestly every single moment with him??? He’s so great???????? I love his entire general attitude and snark tempered with understanding and all-around awesomeness.
7. AND HIS HAIR!!!! Perfection.
8. “I’m keeping this” WHEN HE KEEPS THEIR FIRST SUCCESSFUL COUNTERFEIT 10!!!! Is it a souvenir? Compensation for his time? POTENTIAL FUTURE LEVERAGE (obvs not the last one, JT is far too awesome to pull a Mary Pat) Who knows! I love it
