Hoodoo to me...
Hoodoo is not a religion but a practice. It is an accent to my sprirtual beliefs.
I understand and know that there is a higher Supreme Being, thats goes by many different names and many different stories.
I know that the Bible is riddled with miracles, magic, and spells. (It is the biggest spellbook)
I understand healing, cleansing, and purifying rituals, burning candles, meditation and prayer.
I believe in spirits, divine energy amd presences, God's and Goddesses of african decent. All God's/Mythical beings are mirrored after the African God's.
I know the Bible is man made and aspects were altlered to fit thing accordingly.
I believe through my knowledge of self and education, it is okay to take what I need from Christianity. To decided what I want to lean on and what does not suit me.
I understand my spirit. I know I am a spiritual being over anything.
I know that hoodo is an accent to what I already believe.
And just because I practice hoodoo does not mean that I have to practice witchcraft.
