Yesterday our American Flag flew at half mast at The People’s House to honor the life of Senator John McCain, a man of great distinction who served this country and it’s people for his entire life. Today the People’s Flag was shamefully raised to full staff, days before Senator McCain is laid to rest. This disrespectful act shows the world just how small the man who ordered it truly is. By abusing our American Flag, using it again and again as his personal political messaging tool, he dishonors every service man and woman, every veteran, every civil servant and each and every decent citizen of this country. #whatadisgrace
