I chose my classes before summer and the professor was switched for me. I was not told or asked if I was ok with being with another professor. Instead I'm told they understand my frustration. It's frustrating when you pay for the right to choose your class and professor, but @ut_dallas takes away one of those rights. What did I then pay for? UTD might as well choose my classes for me since they can choose my professors already. I would have been one of those 24. Why do professors matter? The professor I chose I had previously worked with and I liked their teaching style and how they conducted their class. I wasn't the only student that this happened to with UTD. If this has happened to you at UTD or other colleges you should definitely speak up.
