We are very happy to introduce to you the face behind Twillow Farm. This is who has been caring for the animals you have been donating towards. This is who has been working hard day after day heaving hay bales for hours so that every animal can get fed. This is who heaved heavy buckets of bath water to the garden every morning in order to grow us food, and caring for 3 of her 7 children who are recovering from debilitating medical conditions. She has always been a carefree, loving spirit. She is spending all of her spare time dedicated to recovering the farm of her dreams which for now.. seems to resemble a dry and dusty wasteland. She continues to be a relentless warrior.. But all warriors get tired too. This is our mother, Geraldine, also affectionately known as Gigi! We have been posting for so long about the struggle and sacrifice the drought has brought to us, and its painful to watch someone you love go through something so heart wrenching and not being able to change things. As it is quite small and considered a hobby farm, we have not received government funding. Our family’s life savings are gone, and the costs of the drought continue.. We continue to use our voices and we also need your help to do the same. Whether that is by telling a friend or family member, speaking or sharing about it on social media, or donating to us and then emailing our fund to others who may help….Our voices are one of the most powerful things in this world. It can create huge changes that ripple out and deeply effect the lives of others.
