We’ve also noticed more native birds have been relaxing around our dams like they’re at their own personal resort!😂 It’s a welcome sight💛 We really hope to see more native wildlife, more grass, more RAIN! This little one was spotted on one of our tallest hills! Throughout this drought we have encountered a lot of struggle, and watching fellow Australians go through the similar or even more extreme circumstances can be devastating to experience. It’s been a hard few years for this country, and with these bushfires becoming a tipping point we wonder sometimes when we’ll catch a break or catch some rain. One thing this has taught me is just how life can be tough, but we can be tough too. Our hearts reach to one another in community and safety. Even here on social media I’ve found a little safe space where I feel I can connect with people who care about our story, who listen and respond to each other with kindness and understanding. With reports of rain on the way soon, I very much hope we can find time to take a breath this week.
