a while back, i sent @fkevin073​​ an ask about how they thought ziggy could afford her house in 1994, and i wondered if there was any clues in her home in the form of set design that could help us understand who she became after nightwing, and well, there was!

so, let’s start with her living room!

ziggy is in her early 30s, has tons of books, a cute dog and plants (which are not dead!). the one book title i could make out on her coffee table is the 1991 historical romance “Scarlett”, a sequel to “Gone with the Wind”. it was a best seller, but the plot sounds insane. lol

we then move to her movies, and i have to stop to scream because right at the top of her tv is a vhs copy of “Pretty Woman”!

y’know, one of the most iconic romantic comedies ever made, a literal adaptation of cinderella, where a poor redhead and an unhappy rich guy fall in love and get together in the end because love conquers all? yeah, that movie. and it might be one of the few romantic movies that i can make out (i only see two), but it kills me that ziggy might watch this often enough that she keeps it over her tv.

like, ziggy, baby. 🥺 (but i also can imagine ziggy really enjoying the “Big mistake! Big! Huge!” scene bc who doesn’t?)

and now, for the rest of her movies (or at least the ones i could make out):

“Color Purple”, “Beverly Hills Cop”, “Lethal Weapon 2″, “The Bodyguard”, “Heat of the Night”, “49th Parallel”, “Power Play” and “Bad Company”.

lots of dramas, action, war/cop/crime thrillers so sadly, i do think ziggy was done with horror or at least not watching it as often, but that’s understandable.

part II will be the rest of ziggy’s house and an item so strange i still can’t wrap my head around??? (you’ll see what i mean)
