rereading old edgy posts i made in the past and realizing all the shitty takes i had

its so surreal to read things that i don't remember writing, feeling anger and hate at things i didn't understand. the ways i used to change myself and my opinions based on the people i knew at the time. it's sad to see how much that house was affecting me. the kinds of people i was dating, the kinds of games i found comfort in.

i moved out six years ago. and there have been so many times when i look back and wonder if perhaps i was overreacting. maybe i was wrong about how suffocated i felt, how lost, how angry.

now if i feel that way i'll just read my old posts and cringe.
