whenever someone's interested in estonian it's always like "oughh 14 grammatical cases so scary" but really you only need to deal with three, the rest of them are just genitive with a couple more letters at the end. for the most part anyway. we should be scaring them with consonant gradation instead

speaking of grammatical gender, in russian language they misgender coffee. the word ending in е makes people want to refer to кофе as "it" but correct would be "he". that's right, first you assign gender to an inanimate object and then you misgender it. i mean him
