Hi, I wanted to know why do you dislike transmeds and why you don't wanna interact with them

Transmeds are just trans people who belive you need either sex or gender dysphoria to be trans, linking trans to a medical condition. The reason why transmeds exists is to not get their rights to transition taken away and also to separate fake trans people who just have a fetish to real trans people who actually suffer and deadass needs to transition (for exemple, there are people who claim to be trans but don't have actual dysphoria nor the need or want to transition, and claims that transitioning is straight up body horror)

Transmeds don't think you need transition and have all the surgeries in order to be trans, you only need dysphoria and have the desire or need to transition

If you're going to talk about how transmeds reduce "transness" to a medical condition or that transness was always meant to break the binary please consider binary trans people exist and elaborate in your response. Thank you

Omg is it 2018? People who don’t like trans people will not accept you, they don’t view you as an exception because you’re not like those other “yucky trans” people who aren’t within the binary. They will take away your rights anyway.

I don’t even want to ask you to show me a real instance of a trans person with no dysphoria who claims it is “straight up body horror” to transition for anyone but themselves. Because it’s not real.

I hate transmeds because instead of looking at all the things that oppress ALL OF US you’re trying to point hate to people who are suffering right next to you. Stop trying to criticize people who do not exist within the binary and fight against the transphobia that is killing us everyday.

Find something better to do. Donate to charities to help your community, show up for those around you who face discrimination instead of finding a way to blame them.

I was a transmed at one point. And it destroyed my self-esteem and how I viewed my identity. I tried to fit into the binary because if I didn’t that meant I wasn’t trans enough, that I didn’t suffer enough to “earn” being trans. I believe that if I did everything right people would accept me. And you won’t believe what happened? I still faced transphobia. So I started expressing myself in a way that made me comfortable, and I’m happier. And that’s what I think matters. Someone doesn’t need to be miserable that they were born a male/female to know they’d be happier as something else.

And what a way to ignore my DNI 😭 basic instincts tell you I don’t want you to interact with me and you still do for what? The internet is so big and so many others would love to debate you… but you go for a gay fanfic writer who doesn’t want a debate.
