WHAT - HOW - WHY
WHAT A shoe with attached machine. The shoe leaves a plastic print on the floor with your own plastic trash. This can literally show you the ecological footprint you leave on this earth.
HOW The machine around your body melts the plastic waste you would otherwise throw away. This material travels down, through the tube, to the double sole in the shoe, where it has space to flow across the whole size of the shoe. Through holes in the sole, the plastic will seep out and leave a mark in the shape of a footprint.
WHY This is a product made to raise awareness about ecological disasters and how we contribute to them. It is meant to be worn daily, to confront you about your use of plastic and hopefully, over time, to help you use less, because of the rewarding feeling you will have when your print becomes smaller and smaller.
