I have just realised that the jar of peanut butter currently residing in my cupboard has been eaten, thus far, entirely straight from the jar with a spoon. Peanut butter spoon has always been a common occurrence around here, but I don't think I've ever got through a whole jar without spreading it on something at least once. Level up in life!

Two pieces of prosciutto, an apple, Nutella on a slice of German rye bread, and a very nice cup of tea. This may or may not be dinner.

The remains of four different kinds of cake from Patisserie Valerie. Straight from the box. With a spoon because all the forks are still dirty from last night. It is GOOD.

In order of consumption (mostly standing up): A piece of cheese, two cornichons, a piece of caramel filled chocolate, and a bowl of brussels sprouts sauteed in probably too much butter with nutmeg and flaked almonds (actually quite nice).
All while being incredibly indecisive about what to make for a dinner party on Thursday. Aside from knowing I want it to include gratin dauphinois.
Also, let's be honest, I will probably eat another cinnamon bun before the night is over.

The late half of dinner: A slice of maasdam cheese straight from the packet, 4 cherry tomatoes, a bowl of salted popcorn, and Sainsbury's brand bourbon leftover from Thanksgiving baking (not fancy, but does the job).
