the society Architecture is deeply social as an act. Our responsibility towards the community is grave. We should not stand aloof. We should have in mind for whom we build.
the city Architecture derives from the city. Cities need us : we must stand critical towards them. We should stop designing and consuming the space greedily. We must set new rules. Alteration, evolution, scalability.
the tradition Architecture is site-specific. Locus : this magic word seems to be suffocating crammed between the “international archetypes”. We should not be afraid of demolishing in order to rebuild. We should not be afraid of the void.
the built and unbuilt Nature is not the built environment's negative space. The dipole built – unbuilt is the quintessence of architecture. We ought to design with wisdom.
