oh seriously? I've got friends there and they've not mentioned anything about the threats. I did know about the athletes thing since one of my friends is on the softball team & the rape stuff has exploded across the country too, esp UVA. hopefully ya

yeah it was just a weird day. i doubt it was actually anything. just weird that someone was arrested, and people were actually avoiding the pit (where it was supposed to go off) idk it was just weird

THERE WAS A BOMB THREAT AT YOUR SCHOOL AND YOU DIDN'T KNOW? doesn't your school do the alert system thing now I thought all schools were required now or something? that's pretty terrifying being one of the only ones to show up to class then

we do have an alert system, but it's crap. and the threat was on yik yak last night so apparently a lot of people just saw it htat way i guess? they sent out a message at 9:49 this morning (i just checked my phone haha) and it said its "not a current threat. continue normal activity." so like from my pov it didnt really seem like a big thing. But thinking back, there were dramatically less people in my classes all day. maybe people just used it as an excuse to skip, but idk. and one of my professors literally told us at the beginning of class that if you dont feel safe you can leave. and no one took attendance. but on those fb school groups there were a ton of complaints about the lack of response. my school has a lot of scandals rn. they cant handle another one haha. the guy was arrested though
