Condemnig Liars

Recently, I have been dealt with a mind boggling conundrum. When dealing with two different types of liars, who do you condemn? Now at first this may sound vague, you might ask, “But Dazza, all liars are bad!” Yes and I agree lying is bad the truth, as i have come to learn the hard way, should always be told. The types of liars, are fairly specific for this topic. They are; Liar1 a liar who has lied about something they have done to protect you, and Liar2 a liar who lies about who they are.

Now I shall explain the situation, Liar2 has come to me saying she cares for me and wishes to start a relationship. I have known her for some time, she seems kind and innocent, and pure even though I know, being human no one is pure. I take it for granted and I am about to agree to her wanting to start a relationship. Until

Liar1. Now Liar1 has come to me with news about Liar2, Liar1 claims that she isn’t innocent, or pure, but has in fact, cheated multiple times on others, has slept around, and the entirety of her presentation of herself to me has been nothing but a lie.

Now i go to Liar2 and ask her this, she agrees that yes, Liar1 is correct, but, Liar1 is a liar. This shocks me so i ask how. Liar2 and she says that after you and Liar1 made the agreement to stop dating their abusive exes, the week after, she got back with him. She didn’t tell you because you agreed if one gets back with one ex, the other will as well, and Liar1 didn’t want to hurt you so instead lied about it.

Now I am dealt with an option. Do i condemn Liar1 for trying to protect me in secret? Do i condemn Liar2 for lying about who they truly are?

My answer was simple, condemn them both, or don’t condemn them at all. Now I have been met with other answers by our two unnamed Liars. One of those solutions was. Condemn Liar1, they lied directly to you, and because I said they where a liar. The other being. Condemn Liar2, they’ve lied to you about who they are, knowing you would judge them for their actions.

As for you Tumblr. I want to know your answers to this question, and if you agree or disagree with my fianl opinion on the matter, and that being not to condemn them at all. I mean why not right? We are just human.
