Yeah, I feel you. Like honestly for me it doesn't even come down to the ships themselves. I'm totally cool with Katniss ending up with Peeta. I wish she'd chosen Gale, sure. But shit happens. That's what headcanon is for. Literally my only fucking problem with the entireeeeee thing...is the fact that people do one of two things.
1) They tag their Gale hate tags that are not meant for Gale hate.
2) They add their hate to positive posts. I could seriously just post "Man, I love Gale." and within 20 seconds it will have been reblogged by an Everlark shipper who felt the need to add "BUT HE KILLED PRIM! GALE SUCKS!"
Basically if they kept their hate to their own posts, I would have no issues at all. I'm cool with people not liking Gale. I am not cool with people disrespecting other people who DO like Gale.
