idk the movie is fun to laugh at but i feel like people are gonna stop talking about the movie pretty soon, maybe once season 1 is over and we’ve gotten through the entire cob arc and we won’t have any new material from the show to compare to the movie since we only have the cob movie
It's a good question to consider. I think humans can see the more prominent runes... the ones they use over and over again because they're darker. And hell there's probably a rune to hide runes from humans lol. And humans can't even see a Shadowhunter when they have the glamour on so that's a for-sure thing.
idk this is confusing, i’m just gonna go with what the show says and assume humans can never see the runes unless they have the sight (like clary) or have been given it by a shadowhunter (like jace gave to simon)

i wanna say no because runes are supernatural but if runes leave scars and simon saw jocelyn’s scars, at which point do humans start being able to see runes?
