What is this?
The Shade of Jesus moves us forward into the essence of Christ-Consciousness. The shade that Jesus threw all the time. The truth he slayed across various encounters with others.
Basically, we are two black creatives out of South Carolina who were like, “Wayminit, what Jesus is this?” Together and with you, we hope to uncover: “What Would Jesus Actually Do?” Tap in!
The artwork above is the brilliance of artist, Anthony Black, out of Pennsylvania. The image of Jesus or Yeshua is to combat the destructive, conservative narratives that destroy our bodies and deepest selves. The header artwork, “Son of Noah/Children of Ham”, represents the misinterpretation of the genesis story to justify slavery, colonialism and white supremacy in the United States.
