Final thoughts about WHC 2016:
It was a great tournament by all teams
There were close games and blowouts.
There were upsets and shockers.
There were so so many heartwarming moments that reminded me why we love this game.
From Hungary’s first win in decades (and their fans finally getting to sing their national anthem with music), Laine admitting he won’t wash his jersey after being hit by Ovie, to watching Pavel Datsyuk's final game.
As a Canadian, I’m over the moon by Canada’s win. But as a hockey fan, I’m thrilled by the quality of play I saw in these past weeks.
Finally, to everyone who liked or reblogged by posts: Thank you. This was my first ever experience liveblogging and I had a blast!
PS: to my non-hockey followers, thank you for putting up with all my posts :)
