There had been an influx of Sharpedo swimming around the island recently. Normally, it wouldn’t have bothered Blaine, but it was the beginning of tourist season, and a lot of them would be flocking to the beaches and spending their hours of merriment in the water. As much as the old geezer didn’t like herds upon herds of people on the island, it would be bad press if one of them were to get attacked and eaten due to sheer stupidity on the tourists’ part.

Hmmm, probably the first time Galiana actually managed to control her magic and didn't burn off her eyesbrows or skin or someone elses stuff. To actually feel the magic responding to her will and do at her bidding. She was giddy for two weeks and tried to light every candle in the whole Circle with her powerful fireball.
