Day seven. Those of you who know me well know John Wayne is my man. Here I am with him at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. He was instrumental in getting this magnificent museum started that preserves the history and the lore of the old west. Next is the Oklahoma State Capitol. Followed by the original Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel. Some of you may have ridden on it. It was sold in 1997 and is operational in Oklahoma City. The last is also a sad point of history in our country.
