me waking up to see BACK TO BACK CHAMPS
"Haha I love talking with you, you're the most stable person I know"
"No you're literally so sweet and friendly!"
"Aw you're so cute, the way you see the world is so romantic!"
I love you, but have I ever told you how badly I wish I could die tomorrow? Not in a way that hurts, certainly not in a way that hurts you. But I wish that I could slide off the face of life, and take your memories with me.
I wish that I could turn into the feeling you get when you look at the sun reflecting on a river. I wish that I was the sound of falling asleep in the sunlight. I wish that I didn't have to cling on to life, tooth and nail, because knowing you'd cry over me is worse than the death itself.
But here I am, unable to die. I sit on the bench, and look for you on the horizon, in the crowd, through the storm. We laugh when I cry, and I offer to make tea for us.
One day I'll know who I am again. And until then, I guess I have to keep living, or all the hassle isn't really worth it. In many ways I'm glad you're here, but you do keep reminding me how badly I've been wanting to die.
I don't even know you yet.
