The largest bell in the country and the 3rd largest in the world (1st is in Spain, 2nd in USA). It weighs 10.4 tons and was made of 70 sacks of coins collected from townspeople in the 1870s. The new belfry is now made of cement and metal fixtures but prior 1990s, it was all wood.
