When did Rowan realize she loves Urianger? (Idk if there’s something already about this but! Curious)
I don't know if I've shared this completely, so here ya go!
Okay, so love and attraction are two different things, right? So Rowan finds herself drawn to Urianger and possibly even attracted to him as early as Post ARR. She doesn't really realize she has feelings for him until Moenbryda enters the picture and she finds herself jealous. Then Moenbryda dies and Rowan backs off because it doesn't feel appropriate to flirt with a grieving man.
I'm going through a replay of MSQ to get details right for the longfic, but like, I know that her admiration of Urianger grows after the confrontation with the Warriors of Darkness. Like, he outsmarts an Ascian! How cool is that?
By Post Stormblood she figures that Urianger is probably the person she would most like to court if she ever had time to do so. So when he asks "What thinkest thou of mine appearance?" in Il Mheg she's ready to try that whole thing out. She tells him she loves him the night after the battle with Emet-Selch. Like her saying it out loud is her realizing it, but she had been loving him for a long time before then :D.
