everyday i wake up and then everyday i realize Papyrus is still not in Deltarune.

I'm actually so upset I love him I want to go on platonic dates with him so much like PLEASE Toby just add him already 😭

Seeing all these "Pirate Gaster" art pieces has me wondering why nobody has drawn Papyrus on that ship as well.

The Cool Dude has literally got a pirate flag in his room and as not appeared in Deltarune yet and is a skeleton.

Why is he never invited to the Cool kids table???

I'm starting to think I'm the only one so focused on finding Papyrus that I end up brushing off the theories that are actually relevant to deltarune.

Not kidding.

I'm indulged in some of the theories, sure. But Papyrus is my main focus.

Every little detail that brings up Papyrus in any way is all my mind can focus on.

The original promise to see him, the countless delays, the absolute hatred for Sans that burst out every time he even hints at him, it's all Papyrus that I focus on.

Even after being scarred by what the weird route became, I'm still drawn to him and his absence. Granted, I'd rather he be absent in the weird route, but still.

There's barely any videos on his absence, there's people joking about his absence (who I hate), even one of my ex mutuals joked about his absence.

YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!

I have to get this off my chest. Papyrus hasn't appeared in Deltarune yet because he has to unbox an entire house worth of stuff and, in order to see him, we'll have to break in.

Now let's address a few things. The description for Deltarune says the following:

Busy doing what? Well, in Chapter 1, Sans says he and his brother just moved to Hometown. He doesn't, however, clarify how recent the move was. Given that Sans, apparently, owns a convenience store, the house wouldn't really be unpacked at all. If it weren't for the great Papyrus. THAT is where Papyrus has been for the last 4 Chapters of Deltarune; unpacking an entire house worth of stuff.

Now where does "we'll have to break in" fall into place? Well, in the most recent UTDR Newsletter, Toby Fox shared that the Holiday household had a lot of scrapped puzzle elements. One of which intrigues me...:

"makes more sense in-world", huh? Honestly, it DOES make sense. Both Kevin and Papyrus (in both Deltarune AND Undertale) have similarities. They're both stuck at home (DR), they're both able to set up clever traps (UT), and let's not forget something Kevin does in the first movie when he first learns about the burglars: he sets up mechanisms to make it look like people are at home. Papyrus's "trousle of bones" could be the exact same thing. It growing farther could imply he's realizing it isn't working.

So, to sum it up, this post is more so two theories in one. 1: Papyrus is stuck at home because he needs to unbox everything he and Sans own. 2: In Chapter 5, if we wanna see him, we have to break in. Glad to get that off my chest. Let me know what you think.

Man, my brain is so Papyrus rotted.

I literally had a dream last night of sharing a screenshot of a future deltarune chapter that had Papyrus in the dark, constantly rewinding the video to get the moment right.

It was seemingly a very emotional moment with the fun gang too.

Toby, do you see what you're doing to me?

Give me Papyrus, already. Please.

I'd draw him, but, again, my tablet doesn't have enough space to do so.
