Happy 5 months Mya!!
48 HOURS
I feel like there ought to be more time in a day in order to get everything I want to do done. There isn’t a day that passes that I don’t feel…. lost. My mind running through list after list of things I’ve yet to accomplish. 48 hours ought to do it, I think.
And so in honor of that thought, a poem.
Crystalline and fragile, Time. Easily lost. Fading and rising in the blink of an eye. The moment, suspended, suddenly vanishes. What if…. there were more? Would the chase end or become an even deeper addiction? Would the dragon that is Time finally be slayed? Or would it remain a myth, a legend, a tale told to frighten and dismay? A trickster is Time. A con man. A beautiful image that can’t be reached yet fools so many into thinking it can be captured. It is. And yet…. is not.
Where have I been!?
Where does time go? When I looked through this blog today I realized that I have so much catching up to do! So much has happened in the past two weeks and I feel like I haven't documented any of it.
This can be a good thing because maybe I have actually been to busy to sit down and write. This can also be a bad thing because maybe I have just been too lazy to write. Or, maybe I can just not judge the situation at all because it just is not really that important in the grand scheme of things.
However, this post is a promise to you and to myself that I will get the following events documented in the near future:
Nashville with Mom, Cookout with Anna and Linz, Salt Creek with Ellie and Cara x2, the infamous bat situation, and a delectable brisket complete with paleo cookies and a friend's 30th birthday.
So many random yet awesome things to write about and so little time! Now, I'm off to an appointment then back to work for a resident cookout! See, maybe I have just been too busy to write ;)
Catch up with everyone very very soon..... Oh, and be ready to laugh!
Peace-Katie
