The true self seeks release not restraint. So have courage and express who you are at a soul level. It is only through being authentic that you live a purposeful life. For your soul's purpose is bringing you back to yourself. The soul conspires to direct you towards situations and people that will facilitate healing and growth to ensure you thrive on your earthly sojourn.

This is what being busy looks like. 🤯 No space. No margins in life. It's not glamorous. It's time to delete some old belief systems around being busy. ❌being busy does not mean success ❌being busy does not mean happy ❌being busy does not make one more worthy I have found the times I am busiest is the times I am the most stressed. For me, being busy has served many functions. - to distract myself when I'm upset or disturbed - to avoid emotional pain - to make myself feel enough Many of us have realized (because of the pandemic and being forced to slow down), just how much we were pushing ourselves. I know for myself. I hate being busy now. Yet the habit of piling things on is still there. I am working on it. I have to be aware of it. And when I'm triggered I notice I get into workaholic tendencies... then I know I have to pull back. Because when I'm busy, to be brutally honest. I don't enjoy life. I don't get the time to really engage with people, I rush through projects, I even forget what I did that day... The mind is a powerful tool and it’s important to know when to set it down🤔 ✨ Tools are great but they’re not always appropriate for every task for example turning on a light switch with a hammer is an inappropriate use of the tool😅 ✨ What if the same applies for the mind? What if there are appropriate uses of our analytical brains and also inappropriate uses?🤯 ✨ Maybe an inappropriate use of the tool would be to analyse the thoughts we’re having about confidence, guilt, our appearance and maybe these thoughts don’t need any work done on them?🥵 ✨ We get to decide which thoughts we want to be true and this is the power of our beliefs, if we start treating thoughts about confidence as though they’re true then we will experience feelings associated with that thinking🙈 ✨ But what if we got to decide which thoughts are true for us? “Alone”

In the corners of this dark, empty room

Lies a shivering, aching being

Lonesome, scared,

And out of hope.

She wishes someone would care,

But no one’s really there.

In her darkest hours

Pain and suffering

Are her only friends.

Mindless questions, going around

But with all her might, she cannot make them understand

What devils haunt her, what devastation within.

So she crawls back, empty-handed

Into the little dark cocoon she calls her home.

Again,

Shivering, and aching

Alone.
