sylus' birthday week is about to be over, and i've thought so long and hard about how i'd want to honor this fictional character lol. i think it's fun that they have such real world details like birthday celebrations, but tbh the way he's written and given to the player is so sweet.
like yes this game is meant to capitalize off my attachment to these characters, but the way the devs have written him to make me feel like i can do anything is so heartwarming. all the things he says has so much thought behind them, and most importantly succeeds in conveying to me that there is one more persono who will be in my corner cheering me on, even if he's not real. that sentiment is so special to me and important for motivating and inspiring me.
he's just so unashamed about everything. i honestly can't appreciate the writing team enough for how they are able to give me such a refreshing perspective on life through the things this loser dragon says.
sylus holds such a special place in my heart, truly. thank you so much for uplifting my spirit, for helping me realize that my potential doesn't stop just because i'm getting older, and for spurring on the rediscovery of myself.
